The 2025 Grammys are already shaping up as a night to remember on the fashion and beauty front. Sabrina Carpenter did a fabulous homage to Shirley Maclaine in What a Way to Go, Chappell Roan did can-cancore in vintage Jean Paul Gauliter, and Charli XCX just made shipwreck couture a thing.

However, if there were an award for biggest hair change of the night, it may just go to Miley Cyrus. The pop star, who is nominated (and already won) for Best Country Duo/Group Performance for “II Most Wanted” with Beyoncé, arrived wearing a custom, ab-baring Saint Laurent gown, and a cool new “jellyfish” haircut.

At first glance, it looked like Cyrus' hair was the same as it's been in her recent appearances. It was a caramel brown shade, with thick highlights and full bangs. However, once she started moving, it was clear she was rocking a "jellyfish" cut—a haircut with dramatic layers inspired by traditional Japanese Hime cuts. The shorter layers stopped right at the singer's chin, and the rest of her strands were worn long and straight, hitting right below her ribs.

Cyrus has been on a simplicity kick, and her Grammys look was no different. She wore a black leather-effect gown with a sleek halter silhouette and dramatic ab cut-out. She skipped the necklace, and thought her jellyfish layers were hiding her ears, it looked like she also skipped earrings. Instead, she opted for giant gold Tiffany and Co. bangles and a few rings.

For makeup, she went with a soft foundation, soft blush, and soft nude lips. The star of the show was her dramatic eye makeup—she went with a warm brown cut crease with a thick black wing for a little retro flair.
