These pictures pick up after our beach vacation a couple weeks ago. I came home from lunch and changed into activewear to go to a physical therapy appointment. I’m hoping to graduate soon. My ankle is so much better than it was, but it still needs some work.

Then I changed yet again to go out to dinner with my family for my birthday! And I somehow remembered to take a picture of each outfit.

The next morning, I was up bright and early to drive my daughter to the Jersey Shore, and then I met up with Alison to shoot some photos for the blog. I wore this casual shorts outfit to a lunch spot and did some work on my computer.

After shooting a few more outfits later that afternoon, I threw on this outfit to meet a friend for dinner.

I had a hair appointment the next day, and I always get cold in the hair salon, so I wore jeans.

And that brings us to the 4th of July! We had friends over for a cookout, and I wore my red linen tee with a different pair of white shorts. These are old, but I linked similar below.

That outfit didn’t last very long, though. It was a hot day, so once our friends arrived, I changed into a swimsuit and coverup to get in the pool.

I threw on this casual outfit to go to the grocery store and run a few errands the next day. It was way too hot for jeans, but the grocery store is always cold, so I usually wear something long on the top or the bottom.

We had family over for dinner and pool time later that day, so I threw on this lightweight outfit, and I stuck my hair in a clip since it was so hot and humid. My Thigh Society Cooling Shorts kept me cool and comfortable under this skirt, which is way more lightweight and comfortable than it looks.

I decided to wear my ecru wide leg jeans to church the next day, since I haven’t worn them very much this summer. I love how they pair with this olive utility top. It’s a jersey material that’s really soft and comfortable. Ooooh, and it’s on sale!

After church, I changed to go to a grad party. It was another hot day, and I knew we’d be outside, so I wore shorts and a tank top.
I feel like these pieces together look elevated even though they’re very casual. The tank has a nice ribbed texture and gussets under the sleeves for added interest (and bra coverage), and the shorts have utility pockets that keep them on trend, even though they’re a rolled cuff style. I also wore luxe leather flip flops instead of my usual Birks.

The next day, I was exhausted from trying on fall clothes all morning and then working until midnight on Round One of my #NSale Try-On Hauls. I never made it out of my workout clothes. (I did work out, though… Yay, me!)
These On Cloud sneakers were an #NSale purchase, and I love them. So lightweight and comfy. The green pair is still fully stocked. And this Zella tank is also part of the #NSale, but it’s low inventory.

I had a photo shoot the next morning, and after I got home, I did a bunch of try-ons from #NSale packages that had arrived. This Z Supply pullover had also come in from Evereve, and it was the last thing I tried on, so I just kept it on for the rest of the day.

I love this for wearing with shorts inside in the summertime, where I’m often chilly, and I can wear it with jeans this fall. Here’s more of a side view. Aren’t the details so fun!?!
After another long day of computer work last Friday, I threw on some makeup and this easy outfit to grab dinner with Paul.
These silver Seychelles sandals are so cute; I’ve had them for a while, and I was waiting for the swelling in my foot and ankle to subside enough to wear them. They’re on sale and fully stocked! I recommend sizing down.

Becca wanted to go to the mall on Saturday, so I wore my new Faherty stripe pullover with white shorts and sneakers. The navy stripe is sold out, but I also really like that Desert Sage. It looks great with white shorts, too.
FYI, the AllSaints Half Moon Crossbody from the #NSale that I’m carrying is still in stock. It’s a really nice quality, and I love that Palisade Tan color.

We met friends for dinner that night, and I took the opportunity to wear my new Vince smocked tank dress. It looks black in this picture, but it’s actually navy blue, which I really like for a change. I have plenty of black dresses. I paired it with the raffia buckle slides to keep it light and summery.

I wore another variation on the olive shorts + black tank outfit on Monday. This is the smocked tank, not the ribbed one that I was wearing above, but it is sold out.

And finally, this is what I wore yesterday to go to a doctor appointment. I was waaay overdue for my “yearly” physical, and I left with scripts for a mammogram and a colonoscopy. Fun times!
