Leave it to Sabrina Carpenter to premier the fluffiest-ever faux blonde bob on the 2025 Grammy Awards red carpet… only to let her curls tumble down later in the evening as if they were never securely hidden away to begin with.
While it’s always fun to see the red carpet go down in real time on TV, there’s something extra special about that day-after-awards-show energy when the photos all upload and you get to see every angle of your favorite look. Plus, there’s the key fact that we get to hear about the inspiration from the glam teams who (hopefully) got to go to bed early after a long day of pampering their clients.
That's exactly what's happening this morning, as we fully analyze Sabrina Carpenter's head (a typical Monday, TBH—but this bob is special).

Celebrity hairstylist Evanie Frausto was the magician behind Carpenter’s famous curls on February 2, both on the red carpet and for her stage performance. For the initial appearance, Carpenter wore a baby blue gown—custom JW Anderson—with a neckline that turned into a diamond necklace that draped down her exposed back. This girl is always armed with a fun reference, and this time around the gown was a nod to a style Shirley Maclaine wore in the 1964 film What a Way to Go. Feathers and pearls were heavily featured.

Because she turned around so much to give the back of the dress its time in the spotlight, we were able to see where exactly her long hair was held (happily) hostage. As it turned out, Frausto had crafted an elegant French twist after styling her curls with Redken products, the L’Oréal Professionnel AirLight Pro, and a 1.25-inch metal round brush.

"We ensured the shape remained clean and structured, while in the front, we left soft, flirty texture to create the illusion of a chic, short haircut," the stylist explained. "Of course, we styled her signature bangs, enhancing the effortless, sultry vibe. The final look was an undone yet refined updo—capturing that perfect balance of glamour and spontaneity, like the effortlessly sexy aftermath of a night out.”
Later, the curls tumbled down as she performed and accepted her first (!!) Grammy Awards for Best Pop Vocal Album and Best Pop Solo Performance. The hair was no longer short, but it was still very sweet.

And let’s not forget the front of her famous head. For the event, Carpenter went with her signature makeup look: a mix of flushed cheeks, ombré lips, and plenty of highlighter by makeup artist Carolina Gonzalez and her kit full of Prada Beauty products. If you look closely, you’ll even see some cute faux freckles tickling the bridge of her nose.

Before whatever fun after party she had to run off to, Carpenter hopped on Instagram to share a snap of herself grinning with her two shiny trophies.
"Cannot believe life had to post this in the moment but will talk to you later," she wrote.
