The Inspiration
True to Rare Beauty's commitment to mental health, the brand's new body wash is all about self-comfort—whatever that looks like for you IRL. "[There is no] pressure for perfect self-care regimens; it’s the tiny moments of comfort that go a long way," says the Rare team of the new launch's inspiration in a brand press release.
As such, the Find Comfort Body Wash is the natural next step to round out the brand's body lineup, and the brand's famous founder is already a fan. "I love everything about this body wash," says Selena Gomez of her beauty brand's newest drop. "It smooths my skin without any scrubbing, it’s gentle enough for every day, and the fresh, comforting scent turns my shower into a spa.”
The Formula
Where some physical exfoliant body washes can feel tough and grainy on the skin, Rare’s formula is ultra-gentle. Thanks to its plant-derived jelly-to-cream formula, the Find Comfort wash cleanses the skin without stripping it. Botanical extracts such as peach flower, ashwagandha (a buzzy and effective de-stressor), and avocado soften and smooth the skin while also improving texture and complexion over time.
Aside from its nourishing formula, the wash boasts the same great scent as the rest of the Find Comfort line with notes of lemon zest, sweet jasmine, and warm cashmere wood. Plus, Rare Beauty's signature soft-touch packaging manifests as an easy-to-squeeze tube for the Find Comfort Body Wash.
The Review
"I have sensitive body skin and deal with eczema occasionally, so I'm always a little weary when it comes to exfoliation. However, I'm pleased to share that the Find Comfort Gentle Exfoliating Body Wash lives up to its name. It definitely feels more like an exfoliating wash than a traditional scrub with its fluffy lather and lightly exfoliating beads. It made my skin feel soft and silky but not stripped, dry, or irritated.
